Quality & Safety

Quality Assurance

TERMA is committed to delivering mechanical systems that meet project specifications, applicable codes, and client expectations.

Commitment to Quality

Overview

Quality is planned, not inspected in at the end. On every project TERMA prepares a quality plan and inspection and test plans (ITPs) that define what will be checked, how, when and by whom, from the receipt of materials through installation, testing and handover.

Records are kept as the work progresses, so the documentation needed for approval and handover is complete when the systems are finished, and every installed item can be traced back to an approved submittal.

Focus Areas

  • Quality Planning

Project quality plans that set responsibilities, procedures, hold points and acceptance criteria.

  • Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

Step-by-step plans for each system defining inspections, tests, witness points and records.

  • Material Verification

Receiving inspections that check delivered materials and equipment against approved submittals.

  • Installation Quality Control

Inspections during installation against approved shop drawings, specifications and manufacturer requirements.

  • Testing & Commissioning

Pressure, leakage, performance and functional tests that prove each system works as designed.

  • Documentation & Handover

As-built drawings, test certificates, O&M manuals and training delivered as one complete package.
